Athletic training has a long list of health benefits, but it also brings a unique risk of orthopaedic issues for women. Female athletes must pay close attention to their bone health to reduce the risk of orthopaedic injuries. Maintain a Healthy Diet

If your menstrual cycle is irregular, you could be at risk for premature osteoporosis, which in turn increases your risk of fractures.
